I have the black Lian Li Pc-12 case... I would really like to get my drive faces black to match. Has anyone ever attempted this or do you know how to do this?

Don't even need to go to the store, if you don't want to...I just colored them in with a black permanent marker and it looks good!

no, don't color them with a marker, markers look yucky and unprofessional, here is some advise for all paint jobs I use it to paint certain textures in my R/C planes:
Take some removable tape, not the that sticks for good, very light tape, that yellow paper tape I am thinking of should do, hope you know what I'm talking about. Take the tape and tape it all over the parts you don't want the spray to hit. insdie the actauly take take soem cotton balls and stuff them half way into the tray so tehy cover up the intire hole, you may then freely paint the cd tray and uts surrounding. (Of course take out the CD-ROM Drive before starting to paint.;)
Did it to my Pioneer DVD-looks Darn good painted black. When I get everthing together, I'm gonna take a picture and put it on here.

I spray painted my mobo with krylon (Orange) and now it won't boot. Should I have used rustoleum...I don't leave it out in the rain very often,(sometimes I forget) so rust should not be a problem.
Thanks,

You wouldn't be able to see the mobo with the case closed.

Munenori I'd seal the mobo up like the peltier users do first. :p
I painted mine black w/ silver drive doors and buttons, to match the rest of my case. I only covered up the lights (which I'm going to change anyways eventually). It looks great, and it was real easy. All I needed was some masking tape, a black spraybomb, and a silver spray bomb.

When I was really young (about a half year ago) I started to spraypaint my keyboard and my mouse. It looked very fine - I opened the keyboard, poked all the keys out, washed the keys and used some silvery 98% Aluminium spray which I had... ermmm... borrowed from my father (who is into car repairs). It was my only modding I have ever done so far (except for putting thousands of "IluvAMIGA"-stickers on my C 64) and it looked wonderfully metallic after I had plugged all the keys into their respective holes. It even WORKED! The same with the mouse. After 2 months of excessive use, though, I noticed that the paint slowly dissolved from the left mouse button.
So, what kind of spray can be recommended for parts with constant friction (mouse buttons, power button)... normal acrylic spraypaint?

Put several coats of clearcoat over it.
