Team we can pump out many more WU than we are I think its time to find out what has happened to all of our members.
I wonder if they got hit with those client.cfg changes. Its time to roll over DSL and lets not stop there. The outtages are BS people getting mad because stanford has to pull the data they need and then turn out a new WU for our comps to chew on. I say when that happens lets install more clients with the -local tag and keep pulling down WU and turn out more and more so when the servers come back up we just jump our numbers out the roof.
I have ben looking at something with wintop it seems that when F@H finishes and can't return the WU it only pulls something like 5% or less. I say lets run our systems to the max.
And as for [H] forget them because sooner or later we will be pumping out more WU than them. http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/images/smilies/mad.gif http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/images/smilies/mad.gif

I got a home for them. What type of price are you looking for?
I have a 64 mb stick of PC100 for anyone in need, it's done 133.
Fireball, did you get that PIII running?
Edit: that ram is free of charge, as long as it's for a folding box

I set up 3 diff. clients with the -local thing. I have diaal up and got fed up since I had to wait up to 3-4 hours to upload my compleated Wu.
I have 3 different clients on my main machine but they don't run concurrently. I rotate them and then fire all of them up to slow things down when I see that the servers are down. Not as efficient, but it kept my tbird and pIII busy on Saturday.
Bah, this computer (my Athlon) is so screwed up. It won't do half the stuff I want it to networking wise (including connecting to fah or seti), I believe it's time for a reformat, maybe tommorye. I need Ghost so badly.......

How about this just make multiple partitions. I use a program called FIPS its for makeing a partition before installing Linux. Welll you split up your hard drive and use one part of it for back up of downloads and you don't have to crap out the cash for Ghost
I want Ghost so I can reformat and reinstall super-quickly (use an image of a newly installed os). I use my folding-only box as a file server for backups as it is.

Lmao I like that. I have my case front off. I am going to be working on a 550+ cfm system after I get the new F@H rig up and going. Plan to see the fastest celeron 633 with out haveing to use N2

I'll take a 32 MB stick of RAM... it's one of the last things I need for my third folder box. I dont think I need much more - it'll run Win98 minimal installation with 2 or 3 folding clients and VNC installed, would more RAM help? It'll be in a K62 system so it'll run CAS2 100 MHz most likely
SickBoy
**edit** forget it, I am going to buy a new DDR rig for my TBird and plug my Duron back into my KT7A, so I wont need any extra SDRAM.

my p2 233 folding box is even more funny. It needed a fan, so i gave it one. Well of course it was a 92mm antec fan that I superglued on the top, but hey, it works!

im not relly sure of the cfm rateing, but i know it puts out more than any fan ive ever known! :)
I just got a digital camera (free!), so I'll be putting up pictures in a bit...I didn't get it with a reader, so I have to go buy one.

did you do a custom water cool setup? How quiet is it?
Do you have 2 radiators or is the other one on the front of the case a resevoir?
I just realized that my post above was the most pointless ever. Oh well, here's my folding-only celly box. Bask in its microATX glory.

I know, it will happen when I get rid of the second psu. And make some more rounded cables.
I just got the sudden urge to help out both teams, so my celly 466 is going over to seti for the time being, it doesn't fold too well, anyway. It'll go back to folding if I see my weekly rank drop too much. ;)

You guys and your open cases.. how sloppy!
At least they have cases, I have 14 folding rigs running here with no case at all. None of the cases that I do have have any panels on them. :p

Yes, It is custom. With a Danger Den Cube and Maze II. It has one rad, and the other is the reservior. The cables, Allan give me the idea when I first build the computer. I was thinking about cutting them about every 5, but Allan said that I could fold them in the shape of a W and tape them. Is is quiet, yes very quiet. And the pump is silent, you cant hear it at all.(Which was hard to get use to-as I would constantly check it all the time)
Silent Bob is right-I also have to folders down stairs in the basement with a house fan. I walked over by them one day and noticed about a 10 degree change as I got closer to them. So I did set up a fan to circulate air in the basement. Wonder how warm it gets in one of Stanmans folding rooms?
Silent Bob see you got the pic of you and Jay up as your avatar..
