i have now in my hands a

3Ghz C 800mhz
2.8Ghz E 800mhz


i am making one watercooled gaming machine and the other is just for email and chat and stuff. well on the stock heatsink and stock vcore i have the 3ghz running at 3.450 stable as a rock. i didnt play with the 2.8 at all. i am going to be OCing this in a watercooled machine for gaming. i want to know what chip you people think i would get the highest overclock out of thus the best gaming performance

Well, I can kick my own P4-C 3,0GHz all way up to 3,7GHz with 1.5 vcore with stock cooler :)

It's kinda hard to say cause you didn't mentioned your motherboard and mems. Also tell me your CPU's FPO# code.

The highest CPU clock speed on average would go to the 3.0C. As for which will be the best for gaming, either would be good (faster is better). The most important component for gaming is the vid card.
