Just installed a FOP38 HSF, 1333 MHz is the max i can do right now w/ my 1.0 t-bird. 1370 is ok while my PC is running but doesn't post after i do a soft reset.
When I set it to the 10.5 multiplier or above, my motherboard (K7VTA-Pro) issues a warning. When i set the FSB above 137 MHz it also issues the same warning.
Also, when I set the voltage to more than +0.1 in the bios, it shows up during the post as default (1.75 V).
I'm using Arctic Silver, and my case is open.
I have PC133 Micron RAM and a 300W (Generic ---- Y2K) p/s.

Is this best I can do, or do any of you know what's preventing me from going faster???? 41 degrees Celsius idle, 45 degrees Celsius load.

p.s. could it be that i didnt connect the L1 bridges properly (multiplier issue)??? i used read defroster grid liquid.

thanks in advance!!!

umm i belive that is the possiblity that the board only goes up to 10.5 and 137fsb that could be the absolute max it can handle...put the voltage to 1.85/1.888 and then try...it wont hurt the chip if u give it that much voltage...and if this an asus board i know that error...if u do it via Jumpers u dont get that warning.
