Ok heres the dilemma. I want blue lighting in my case but I want the UV dye in my tubes to glow like the sun so I figured I would buy 2x 12" Dual Cathode kits from SVC. Does anyone see any issue with the UV messing up the normal blue color? The UV light normally isnt visible and won't effect it right? Im just amking sure before I order all this stuff.

The only thing is, that the light from the blue cold cathodes will be more intense or brigther than what the uv effect gives off, so you probably won't be able to see the uv glow very much.

Blue will actually make some UV sensitive things glow a little bit. The problem with mixing UV with any other cathode is that it will take away from the glowing of the UV things. Yes you will still be able to see the stuff glowing, but it will not have as good of an effect as if you just used UV. Some colors still stand out just as good when you mix. That yellow green color dye that most people use works very well. Hope that helps.

Are you guys talking about the "SUPER BRIGHT UV 12" DUAL TUBE CCFL KIT" from SVC?"

That is what I ordered. It hasn't arrived yet, but I am hoping that it is blue and uv. I'm kinda cornfused about it. Is it a blue CCFL tube and a uv? Or are there two Blue CC that are the same that have some built in uv also?
