The Intel S-spec chart here:
http://support.intel.com/support/processors/sspec/p3p.htm

Lists the following 1.26ghz-s
1.20ghz
1.133ghz-s
1.133ghz
All of these are listed as having 512k cache.
The ones with the -s at the end say they are intended for server design.

Anyone know what is difference is between the server design and desktop?

I notified Intel that they don't make any mention of these 256 cache version on their s-specs list. We'll see what if anything comes of this. I'm curious because I need to know which one to buy for my mobo...

S version has 512K L2 cache and is SMP capable - I'm running two right now.

Hi ,

Those are mobile products. See

->Your Message: I think your S-specs for the Tualatins are
incorrect. There are varieties of this chip being
distributed with 256kb L2 cache, but your specs sheet makes no
mention of this and only has the 512kb chips listed.

Desktops, from what I've learned, are not SMTP ready and only have 256kb L2 cache (and currently only go as high as 1.20 at www.googlegear.com).

Being good natured, I mail bombed him for even thinking he was superior!! hehehe
