ZoneAlarm PROB.

Heyguys i guys i had to format my computer so i had to re install zl i use 4.5 cuz i hear that there are som problims with 5.0.

any whay now zone alarm wont let any thing connect to the NET! it asks me if its ok for somthing to connect to the net ( i want it that way) then i say yes ( for lets say msn or explorer) and well i cant connect so i have to shut ZL down then things work fine whats going on never did this before! :temper: :mad:

Hmm it may not be ZA. I had a similar problem, twice in fact, the first time it turned out to be some new AV software (NOD32 which I had to remove). The second instance it was another application (sorry forget the name, which I also removed).

the thing about zonealarm, I have 5.0 now, I havent had any problems with it, some people do, but if your having problems going to webpages and stuff, turn off all the settings in zonealarm, and try and go to a webpage, if it work, turn on a setting, then try again see if you can still goto the net, then try another setting, and so on, and figure out what setting is screwing you up, it works well, doing stuff like that if your having problems, I did it with overclocking and figured out what setting in the chip configuration was slowing my ocing down! :clap:

i think ill just get 5.0 later and then do that if it dont work ill just not use it
