Hi all,
i am looking for a new power supply to replace my existing true 400 W one, while i am browsing in newegg i found the following power supply MGE supercharger 600W power supply it has the following link:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-167-010&depa=1
did anyone tried this one? is it good?
also what about the Aspire 520 W below:
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-148-008&depa=1

i need high power in my systems.
my current system contain(or will contain shortly) the following:
MSI K7N2DELTA-L
2600 MObile XP athlon (overcloked 2.6GHZ)
1GB RAM : 2X256 corsair XMS 3500 plus 1 512 transcend PC4000.(all at 2.8 volt)
1 maxtor 80 GB 2MB cache 7200 with one WD 80GB 2MB cache 7200 (RAID 0)
1 fujitsu SCSI MAS3376NP 36 GB 15K RPM U320 HDD (boot).
sound blaster AUDIGY 2 ZS
MSI TV@NYWHERE MASTER tuner.
NEC DVD writer DL.
LITE ON CD writer
Transcend 6 in 1 card reader
floppy drive
6 8cm fans.
1 purple flurecent lamp.
1 SCSI LSIU160 adapter
1 RAID 0 controller.
I might get 2 baracuda 40GB HDD in RAID 0.(they'll be cheap)
VGA card MSI GEFORCE 4 TI4800SE O/C to TI4600 (not for long).
as u can see from above i need to have alot of power in my system, i don't want to pay more than 70$ for a power supply. i may even go to a dual power supply configuration if neccesary but i prefer to stick to one (my case doesn't have a place for an additional power supply).
the new power supply is to be used with the next PC also (A64 hopefully)
please advice for the above,
thanks to all,
bye

I'd suggest the Fortron 550 watter but you said you don't want to spend more then $70 so i dunno. Both of those psus are relatively cheap brands and i wouldn't trust them wiht my system you might though.

Both PSUs are crap. Definately get a Fotron, Sparkle, or Antec PSU instead. I'd go with this 530 Watt Sparkle (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-103-489&depa=0) that comes out to $75.95 shipped. It is definately worth it to go the extra $6 beyond your budget to get it.
