OK, I have seen a number of questions about what temps to expect with different pelt setups, so I thought we might be able to start a bit of a list. Could everyone with a Pelt cooled CPU please post the following:

Idle Temp/Load Temp
Ambient Temp
pelt specks
pelt PSU and specks
CPU+ settings (speed, voltage)
Heat output if possable (program called CPU power is good for this)
What is cooling hot side (water cooling specs in most cases)

Thanks guys!

Well I am not running it anymore because it didn't make any difference in my OC, but this is what it used to be:

Idle Temp/Load Temp: -2C / 22C (at 2.3v)
Ambient Temp: 24C
pelt specks: 226W potted TEC running at 12V off dual molex, Imax = 24 Amps, Qmax = 226.1 Watts, Vmax = 15.2 Volts
pelt PSU and specks: Using main PSU, not separate: Forton 550FSP with 36AMPs on 12V Line
CPU+ settings (speed, voltage): 2.88GHz (sig)
What is cooling hot side (water cooling specs in most cases) - Maze3/Heatercore (see sig)

you have an amazing oc on a nice simple setup

excuse my interuption.

My system:

Idle/load: 39*C/43*C (prime95 torture test long period)
ambient: 23*C
pelt : NO PELT (i have 226W tec in my drower and thinking if it is worth the trouble to use it )

pelt psus: burned two already :(
CPU : A 1700+ 11x200 = measured ~2100MHz 1.925V Epox 8rda+
heat emission : ~100W
heat absorbant: Water (room radiator combined CPU+GPU+system 80%borygo 20%destilated water)

Will aplying the tec into system make mesurable difference????? Please share your knowledge.

Nico3k, due to my poor english i needed some time to understand your post. What are your temperatures with no pelt on A2500+@2,9GHz???? Doesn't 2,2V damage your CPU if sufficient cooled?? If i dared to apply such devastating current to my system, perhaps 2,5GHz would be aviable??? Is it safe??

P4 2.4C at 3.1 1.550V
maze 4-1 with a 170 watt peltier, at 11.5V off some crappy power supply i had lying around
danger den dual heater core with 4 x delta 150 cfm 120mm fans and shrouds
some crappy submersible pump i had.

right now i am getting idle temps of about -16°celsius and load of about 12°celsius
i think the lagre diff in temps are due to the 170 watt pelt and a 226 would do alot better
my water temps are about 27-28 celsius at full load inside my resivoir, before radiator
and i dont have any other blocks yet.

feel free to ask any questions.
