I bought a new 1333Mhz Tbird. I'm just not satisfied with it. 3dmark 2001 score was about 2000...

------
This is what I have:

1333Mhz AMD Thunderbird (Cooler master with arctic silver)
Asus A7V133-C
Creative 3dBlaster Geforce2 MX 32Mb ddr
512Mb RAM

SB live player
3com ethernet III PCI
Maxtor 8,4Gb HD
----

I just updated my directx and nvidia detonator drivers. Everything should be in order but it just doesn't work so well....

Btw, what kind of CPU core voltage should I keep with 1333Mhz?
How about 1400Mhz?

Thx

Obviously, your 3DMark 2001 score isn't what it should be. Does your Asus A7V133-C run at 133 Mhz FSB? To check this, SiSoft's Sandra comes in handy. www.sisoftware.co.uk .

Hmmm... Try new drivers for your videocard , get the latest beta ones from http://www.gamers-ammo.com Do you have the most updated version of directx ? I hope you'r still not runing dx8.0 cause that one is no good you need directx 8.0a or higher (Notbeta).Did you correctly install you'r drivers for your motherboard for the agp etc...? Double check all that stuff , also update you'r bios.

I checked the antialiasing at first place..nope. It's not on..........Could my mainboard be broken? my ps2 mouse port doesn't work at all, so I have to use usb mouse. :D

BIOS: I just updated my BIOS few days ago, but I'm not sure did I do it correctly..... I have to try those newest beta detonator drivers next.................

Try the new detenators , then if that don't help return your mobo. I had bad experiances with 3 a7v133s I just hate them.... if you can get an abit or a ddr board like the epox 8k7a in place of that if you got some cash to burn on ddr ram.you should be geting around at least 3500 with your setup duno why its so low.

one more thing!! U cant expect much over 2000points on a geforce 2mx. The mx card is just getting to slow. I get around 2200-300 on my geforce2mx card.

In comparison an overclocked duron @ 950 cannot compare the a T-bird thats 1.33Ghz he should be geting around 3500.To update your bios do the following. Goto http://www.asus.com/products/motherboard/bios_tools.html and download the asupdate.exe then follow the instructions and install. Then you want to extract your downloaded bios to some where , then click the asusupdate that you just installed , click UPDATE FROM FILE choose the file you downloaded then see if your motherboard read the bios that it can install on your mobo , click *Flash* and let it flash don't do anything while it flashes , then reboot and load setup defaults and mess with the stuff in ur bios hf.
