Personal Email Server

Not sure which section this would be in, but I will guess here. I am trying to setup a personal email server. Now, I got the Mercury email server, from the same people who created Pegasus. I got it setup, but I dont know what to do from here. I am guessing I should forward inbound ports, but where would I set my incoming and outgoing mail address to be? Any help possible is greatly appreciated.

To recieve inbound smtp mail you will need a Internet dns hosted entry (MX entry, dns2go etc) and port 25 forwarded to your local (lan) smtp server

Thnx, that helped some, but still confused on what exactly to do. The links you gave helped w/ setup, but not configuration. Any ideas?
