Uhmm...nice question,
probably the only way to do it, is giving an higher voltage to the fan, like 14 or 15v then the rated 12v, but this greatly decrease the life of the fan.
If i remember well, you must connect the 12v and 5v to the positive cable of the fan, and the black (ground) to the negative.

voltge is potential difference so.... you need to connect the 12 volts lead to a -5 volts lead to get 17 volts.
this is the most comman way to do this. you fan will die alot sooner alwell.

take the red (hot) wire. may be diff but probly not and connect it to any 12 volts lead (yellow wire on the 4 prog connector for harddrives) or pin 10 on an ATX connetor

take the black, ground, wire and connect it to pin 18 of an atx connector.

Vola 17 volts

Pin # Signal Signal Pin #
11 3.3 V 3.3 V 1
12 -12 V 3.3 V 2
13 Ground Ground 3
14 PS-ON 5 V 4
15 Ground Ground 5
16 Ground 5 V 6
17 Ground Ground 7
18 -5 V PW-OK 8
19 5 V 5V SB 9
20 5 V 12 V 10

Sorry for my mistake
the best way is to change your Hs fan with another one more stronger, it's simple, fast, and works for long time, be care with your chip :D

...to keep the cpu temp below 47°C. I´d to reduce the FSB to 169Mhz [but this time the ram is running at 169 too!].

I just mounted my old cpu-cooler under the main cpu-cooler [see pic below!] and it´s fits exactly.

Now my P-III 866 is (still stable since over 4 days] runnig at exact 1100 Mhz [BIOS] 1104 Mhz [Windows information].

So what did I have to do, to become listed at the CPU-DATABASE list on www.overclockers.com? *hehe*

The VCore is now at normal 1.75 volts again...

I think your temps are a tad on the high side...nice overclock though.
