Advice on FTP in my network places?

Im on a wireless network home 3 comps wired up and in XP PRO when i go 2 my network places i have a Ftp site host coming up. Im transfering all the files i see there to my computer. Why is this in my network places?

Why are you transferring all your files to it? I'm afraid I don't understand your question.

Under XP, if you connect to an ftp site frequently enough, it will begin to appear in your "my network places"
