Well, after my amd system craped, check out my post @ amd cpus. I have to stick with this for a while.

ABIT BF6
Celeron (SLOT 1) 266 @ 300 1.9v (default is 2v)
64mb PC100
3dFX VooDoo3
10gb western digital
24X cdrom

AHHH BOY! Well, its not that bad LoL. Full load temp is 32C. I am getting a Celeron II 800 soon for this machine, then to get a new chip for my AMD.

Bum luck Carmine! I'm not sure your gonna see a Celeron 2 in a Slot 1 config. All the current celeron 2's are FCPGA packaging. They've switched over to FCPGA to save production cost. Checked out Intel's site and I didn't see any info on new Celerons being Slot 1. I'm not positive though...hopefully someone else can verify. You might want to consider a Slot 1 P3 instead, they're not too shabby! Good luck!

LoL yes, please take me back. Yes i have 2 chips now....a bf6 and another mobo that can goto 150fsb. I have a p3 450 @ 621 2.3v, and a Celeron (slot1) 266 @ 400 2.2v, can do 430 @ 2.3, but my heatsink only has one little fan on it LoL.

I am running the celeron, my brother has to use my p3 since he is going back to college, and his celeron II 700 died at the same time my duron did.

His mobo and everything was ok, i hope my stuff is ok. I can't test them, i don't have another amd cpu.

I know that Celeron II's are only FCPGA, i think you might have missunderstood me.

I am pretty satisfied with this chip. My mem scores aren't bad either 319/333, and that @ 100fsb CAS2. LoL im running Pc100 64b NANYA ram. LOL i couldn't believe it, i wish i could magically transform it to PC2700 DDR NANYA LoL.
