I'm curious as to whether the author used the socket thermosistor or the more accurate heatsink bored hole method.

Looks like good stuff though, cheaper than Artic Silver too.

No offense to anyone but sounds like NANO-b@ll****

First of all maybe it is a great product, maybe not, BUT what is it that gives it this incredible performance? I'd like to know what the heck this means in laymans terms- "Nanotherm Ice and Nanotherm Blue are unique, new "Nanocomposite" Thermal Interface Compounds comprised of high-tech ceramic "Nano" and Thermally Conductive fillers compounded into a special high pressure, high temperature non-silicone based carrier matrix "

Now I'd also like to know since they offered a 'free' sample why did they stop when most of us have never heard of this Nano stuff.

NANO fantastick or Nano ordinary grey thermal grease, Im sticking to Arctic Silver until I figure out what the heck Nano is.....

And then there's the skeptic amoung us

I think that it's pretty cool that somebody else has decided to make something, so arctic or generic thermal paste aren't our only choices. It has been reviewed to give slightly better temps, and of course they shut down the free sample thing, because it was posted on a major site and tons of people obviously flocked to the free goods! They can't just give it all away, you know...

AS2 owned its reputation, lets see how this thing will do.

I want to see a few more reviews of it, but I will send this link joe's way and see what if it peaks his interest.

the tests must be done and the explain what a nano ceramic is too.

One thing that should be noted is that the folks that make Nanotherm have been sending different compounds out to dealers for testing every couple of weeks. As I understand, the current formula was also shipped to dealers with in the last couple of weeks, most likely shortly after development. Looking at this, it’s important to realize that there has probably been no long term testing for stability. I believe it might be wise to sit back and wait. Let others be the guinea pigs.

Maybe its not Nano-Bullsh$t after all

Gideontech has some pretty good testing procedures and they did a comparison between Arctic Silver2 and Nanotherm thermal paste and the results are pretty decent and Nano scored better than AS2 (But I'd still like to know more about it "Nanotherm Ice and Nanotherm Blue are unique, new "Nanocomposite" Thermal Interface Compounds comprised of high-tech ceramic "Nano" and Thermally Conductive fillers compounded into a special high pressure, high temperature non-silicone based carrier matrix "

Anyway its a decent article and hopefully OC.com staff will review this stuff for us soon.

Here's the article:
