Modding a BIX 2

I have my rad mounted on the top of my case(highest point)
needless to say Im getting bubbles trapped up there.
My idea is to tap in a 3/8 barb on the oposite side of the outtake for an air trap, as well as making ops like fill and bleeding easier.

before I go and start drilling an expensive BIX does anyone know if the chamber is hollow or are there channles in there?

or is there an easier sollution?

Have you tried contacting your retailer or Black Ice? I'm sure they have rad geeks ready to bore you to death.

The BIX is basically the same thing as a normal heatercore. A dual-pass heat exchanger, meaning the water goes from the inlet chamber down the channels, and back up other ones to the outlet chamber.
