I would lean towards the KT133A chipset rather than the ALi MAGiKchipset (a bit buggy sometimes).... If you want to tweak, the ALi MAGiK.
The DDR will give you the boost.... and DDR memory are just a bit more expensive that PC133

Actually for about the same price as the Asus A7A you could pick up an Abit KG7, which is the 761 chipset for DDR support. Then pick up a 256meg stick of PC 2100 DDR from crucial for $36.00 or so. There is a noticible difference in the performance of DDR over Sdram for virtually no difference in price.

The A7V133 is vr STABLE and good
it'z a good choice if u're plannin to use SD-RAM
i personally wouldn't buy an ALi Chipset Mobo cause STABILITY is it'z weakness

there is quite a differnce between sd and ddr prices in my area here is a store that i find ussually has good prices

PC133
128MB PC-133 SDRAM Branded $26
256MB PC-133 SDRAM Infineon $49
512MB PC-133 SDRAM Infineon $125

PC-2100 DDR
128MB PC-2100 DDR $39
256MB PC-2100 DDR $72
128MB PC-2100 DDR w/ ECC $56
256MB PC-2100 DDR w/ ECC $85

its still about 25$ with taxes more then reg ram when it comes with in 5-10$ of pc133 i will get it then but 25 is still quite abit becuase for the price i can pick up a 128mb stick and get 384mb hehe. thx for your help guys
