I'm running 0.8 for the past few months and had made several customization with tab-browser extension, but the extension maker hasn't come up with a new version for 0.92 ...

so is there any reason for me to update to 0.92? (i read about the security issue with 0.91 which was patched in the 0.92, but i'm not sure if the same problem occured with the earlier versions ...)

and for those who updated to 0.92 and happened to be users of tabbrowser extensions, what alternative extension that you use?

FIREFOX ROX!! :D

have you tried importing teh settings from firefox?

i had 0.8 and got 0.92 at the end of setup it asked to import settings etc from previous versions ..... though im not so sure on what you are asking about

imho 0.8 looks better ... the buttons and what not

I like 0.9 for the ability to (finally) uninstall and update your plugins. Besides that nifty feature and the new UI (which I find to be nearly a nonissue), there's not much change.

Also, Tabbrowser Extensions works fine with 0.9 :) I was iffy about upgrading as well since I couldn't find the plugin on Mozilla's site, but the latest version on it's page is currently powering my tabbing needs just fine.

Anytime!

You may want to also...
1. Type "about:config" in the address field.
2. Set the value of network.http.pipelining to "true".
3. Set the value of network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to "100".
4. Set the value of network.http.proxy.pipelining to "true"
5. Set the value of nglayout.initialpaint.delay to "0"

I had to create the "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" string

Found that somewhere on this board...worked great for me.

yep .. did that :D,

btw, i'm typing this from 0.9.2 ... flawless migration and the tabbrowser extension works fine with the 0.9.2 (Thx JigPu).

go firefox

It's also good you upgraded because firefox .8 had known vunerabilities which were fixed at .9 and later.
