My good old Addtronics case is showing its age so I am in the market for gettting a new case. I've been looking around and for my needs the Chenbro Genie case is what I want. The thing is these cases are hard to find. They no longer sell them at Newegg or Directron. (At least I couldn't find them there.) Does anybody know any reputable sites that sell this case. Thanks.

Good Reseller Rating as well.

Checked out coolcases.com and I stumbled upon the LiteOn FS020 case, and now I have a dilemma on my hands so I wil hijack my own thread and ask:

If choosing between the Chenbro Genie and the LiteOn FS020 which would you go with?

I am basically looking for a case that's easy to mod, easy to put a WCing system in, and can hold a decent amount of drives. Currently I am using all of the available drive space on my Addtronics 7896A case to give you an idea of how much drive space I need in a case.

On a side note, has anybody here know anything on Case Depot (http://www.casedepot.com)? I did a search and found the FS020 case there for $20 less than coolcase.com. Thanks.

As for choosing between the two, I really can't say, as I haven't used either case. I recall that the Lite0on FS-020 was a very popular case at these forums, and considered among the best for large cases; also, the Chieftec was quite popular as well. My only suggestion would be to search this forum for recommendations, there were quite a few concerning both the FS-020 as well as the Genie.

As for Case Depot, they have quite a high Reseller Rating as well, but it hasn't been changed in awhile, but it does seem reputable..

Thanks Aslan, I think I will be going with the FS020 just because it is larger than the Genie. As for Case Depot, I did see their rating at Reseller Ratings, but there are only 7 reviews for them and, as you said, hasn't changed for a while, so that is my concern about them.

Jim Hanson is just one of the best guys to deal with - 5 stars for coolcases.com!

Okay, now I am at another dilemma. I was just about to place my order for the Lite-On case at Case Depot, but their S&H charge is $47.50. I know the case is heavy, but WOW.

coolcases.com is currently sold out of the LiteOn cases and I really have my heart set on this case now. Does anyone know where I can get the LiteOn case without paying an outrageous price for shipping? Thanks again.

The Lite-On case has been discontinued for some time now and I was quite surprised that it was even listed. I'm not sure if CoolCases will even get any more FS020's again.
Case Depot has it for $100 in stock, so I guess you'll have to buy it from them if you want it.
