I have downloaded Seti but when I try to create an account it attempts to connect to the server but then says "unable to connect through network connection" or something similar and then says "unable to open file." Afterwards SETI exits.

How do I resolve this?

Hang in for a while. Berkeley is having some database problems.

You might want to try BOINC that seems to be working ok today.

Ditto - Not much point in signing up for Seti classic at this point since it's about to be shutdown.

I was begining to wonder. I haven't been able to send up results since yesterday morning... Only 203 wu left to crunch (seti queue cache) and I'm done w/SETI 1. Then I'll probably shut down the 3.06 and 2.53 while I test BOINC on the 2.4c. Anyway, it gives me the chance to clean out the dust bunnies for those two systems. lol

Runs great on the 2.4c... About 136.5 average credit for me so far with mine...

Crunch on! :attn:
