Ways to seriously tweak GF2 Pro 64DDR

I am thinking of watercooling my cpu and grafics card. I was wondering if there is a votage tweak for my card sure as there is on the GF3 tat can get them mem in excess of 500mhz

Sorry, I misread your post with my original response :).

Other than cooling, I am not aware of any tweaking methods... some say that adding cooling / ramsinks to your memory chips will yield the greatest benefit.

What are the memory specs for that ram? (X?ns?)

400 mhz is the most the chip will do by specs, but sometimes they are modest and you can actual gain another 10-50 mhz from them... but 500 is not likely, the memory just can't run that fast under normal conditions.

Oh yeah, you have the freak card... nevermind specs :D.

I am lookin forward to throw away my voodoo 5 and get a geforce but i am having a prob.
I am not sure which card should i get, if it will be the ultra or the pro. As i have seen these posts i think u could lend me a hand. Also how much could i overclock my geforce?

Most geforce cards gain about 15% overclocked, some more some less.

The GTS-Pro or Ultra are currently tops in current games for the price. Check www.pricewatch.com for current pricing. try to get named brands, usually NOT the ones on the cheapest/bottom of list (Asus, MSI, Leadtek, Visiontek, Hercules etc are name brands).

if u have the cash then go for the ultra but if not then the pro or gts

ultra is the BESt but you may get a freak card like mine that runs faster then most ultras my 64mb Pro is stable at 365/465?? go figure--$ ill sell it for a decent price if ya pm me

what program did you use to get the core at 365?
cause i've got exactly same card as you..
i've got my mem at 465 but aint gonna push the core yet..

I used the program that came on teh CD - WINFOX i think it is - should be a little blue"R" in the taksbar. That is what i used. Seemed to wirk great - see now i know that my card is not a outkast - others are getting similiar results iwth this card I knew that Leadtek/WInfast made a GOOD product

I would keep you card for a little bit and save some more money and get a morpheus g3 that way when all the nifty dx8 games come out your card will use all the functions.
