I have a athlon 1.2 on an asus a7v that I cannot get below 50 C, the mb temp is 32. I'm running an mc462 for my hsf and about 6 case fans. 2 in front and 1 on side for intake and 2 on back and 1 on top for exaust. they are all sunon 80mm fans. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!

From your description, it sounds like you're doing everything right. Are you using the in-socket thermister to find your temps? I heard that some can be off by as much as 10C on some mobos.

Other than that, are you sure the hsf is mounted evenly? What kind of thermal paste did you use? What is the ambient temperature?

Ok, first of all, I am no expert on cooling, physics, thermodynamics, etc.

Are these all identical (same cfm rating) fans?... If so it's possible you're creating a vacuum in your case, since you have 3 in and 3 out with the same cfm rating. This would translate to basically no airflow which could help explain the high temps.
