Should you NOT switch to firefox?
The answer is..... *gasp* yes.
Most definitly do switch. It's so much better in many more ways then one. But make sure you customize it with a skin you like, and get a couple of extension.
The ones you must have:
All-in-One Gestures (mouse gestures are so awesome :D)
Copy Image (firefox doesn't come default with a right-click>copy image feature)
IE View (firefox still isnt perfect, your still gonna need IE for some pages)
then there are a couple along the lines of Tabbrowser extensions and toolbar enchancements you should check out.
make the switch

Bookmarks>manage bookmarks>file>import>find the location where you exported your IE favorites.
To export from ie go to file>import export and use the wizard.

Can ya answer my question? On my msn messenger, I click 1 new e-mail message and it opens internet explorer, and when i click view profile on somebody's name it open's firefox. Firefox is set as defualt browser, what should I do?
Hmm, I dont use msn, but I guess check the options in there.
you can't do that, because it's hard programmed into msn
but yeah, firefox is a LOT better
look for an extension called adblock...that thing is a godsend :)

Of course you could always use gaim or trillian instead of msn messenger.
I don't use AdBlock myself, but it's supposed to be a great plugin for stopping ads from appearing. If it's the plugin I'm thinking of, you're supposed to be able to right click any image, and have the domain it came from (ad.doubleclick, x2cam, even ocforums :D) banned form loading any kind of content wether it be images, flash, scripts, etc.

And just for those dyas when your feeling blue, get the "firesomething" extension
its completely useless and yet utterly great. I couldn't live w/o it

Just tried firefox. It an IE clone! Each view opens up in new window and clogs the taskbar. Opera got it right.

Try using the middle mouse to open links, It'll open it in a new tab. And don't start a opera vs. Firefox flame war

The new version is supposed to open them in tabs. If it doesn't, look for the single window extension, it works.

I'm not starting a flame war. I don't like Opera much in fact, it crashes quite often and take 15 seconds to load. But its layout IS very nice and configurable.
(Opera can zoom a website, which is VERY nice on big monitors)
Is there a plugin like that for FireFox? And how can I move the tabs to the bottom? :bang head
heh if you dont like firefox then go back to IE, and when you get hacked then you'll know why.

Something like this ? http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=139&vid=223&category=Page%20Display
...Or something like what happens if you hit CTRL and + at the same time?
As for moving tabs to the bottom of the screen, currently the only way I know to do that is to use the Tabbrowser Extensions (http://white.sakura.ne.jp/~piro/xul/_tabextensions.html.en) plugin. It's got zillions of options on how to set up tabbed browsing just how you like it. Somewhere in it's menus, I believe you can move the tab bar to the bottom or sides of the screen if you want.
