View Full Version : I can't fold for some time.... :(

I have just killed my MoBo, and therfor I can't fold until I get a new one. But I'm short on cash at the time so there might be a month or so before I can start do some WU's again. :(
If someone have a spare MoBo for a socket A CPU, please contact me.

Did the voltage mod you were going to do kill it? I think it was you that was asking Colin about that right?

My 8k7a is down right now and I'M u sing a pos biostar mobo, no ocing and its kt133 chip. I'm getting a new bios for my epox by either tommorow or the day after, which will hopefully fix my problems. If you still need a board after a few days I could send it to you.

I guess i'll PM you or you can Pm me.

Sorry to hear about your recent loss. I hope you recover soon. I know all to well about the cost of such a loss. Maybe something will come your way sooner than you expected.

Yes it was me who talked with Colin about it. No it wasn't the mod that killed it, but my bad soldering skills :(

You are right about that! :) I have just orderet a 8k7a, so i don't have to do a mod to get over 1.85!
I guess I'll be up and running fater than I thought, me parents will lend me some money (Thanks to mom and Dad!), So if I'm lucky I'll be back Monday!:) :) :)

maybe you can clean up the dead board and rma it?
