ok not a big o/c but just enough to make a divx movie play, any wase do u guys think this is an acceptable overclock for a standard heatsinkand fan? windows dosent crash:) (for my friens comp,all they use is really gay aol)should i put in an old 80mm fan on case?
You can't expect that K62 to go much faster without investing in a high end heatsink but it really isn't worth it.
It never hurts to improve case airflow. Put an 80mm in front and back and that PC will be much cooler inside.
I wouldn't be surprised to find you could move it up to 400 stable with no more than a 0.1v increase. Have you tried upping the fsb yet?
