I just got my new water block and I put it in my computer. I got the X-Aqua AMD Block from Xoxide.com. http://www.xoxide.com/xaquaamdblock.html The price was nice and so I decided to give it a try. I put it in my computer and my temps are at 33°C instead of the "normal"
37°C - 41°C so I am happy about that. I also got a heater core from Danger Den a couple of weeks ago and I put a shroud on it with a 120mm fan. I can feel the air flowing through it pretty well. I think that 33°C is a decent temp when I o/c my 2500+ Barton to at least 2112.Mhz. cannot get a 200Mhz FSB but that is a different post altogether..... I am wondering if there is anything that I can do to get an even lower temp in my homemade setup. I have an aqua pump in a reservoir and I am running my water cooling system in a box under the PC. any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.
