What to do?

Ok I am wondering what to do?

I am going to be chilling my 2600 soon to get a nice overclock.

My friend offered buy my used 9800p 128 off me for $175

I might have another free $150 comming in soon. Thats just over $300 and I'm really looking foward to doom 3 and hl2. What should I do? Should I upgrade to a 6800 gt? I do have the extra dough to buy it but should I wait a week or 2 to see if the price drop on the GT? Or just hold out for another year?

the gt is not going to be dropping much in price within a week.

i would wait til the games are out on shelves before wasting money upgrading your machine to run them

No I'm not wasting my money upgrading my whole machine. I'm going to chill it no matter what. The only thing I'm wanting to upgrade is the video card but I'm wondering if I should.

I wouldn't bother if it weren't for my friend. I doubt I could get $175 for it anyways.

Perhaps I won't....
