Bad quality, no stabibility, generic brand psu. Do not bother buying it, it's total crap. :-/

I just got a 450SS with the 3 fans and I really like mine. Been about 3 weeks now. My 5V and 3.3V are right on the money and totally stable under full load. The 12V is at 11.8V, a little low, but still totally stable under full load. Came with more than enough molex connectors for hard drives, cdroms, fans, etc. And I like the fan speed control options.

I am gonna get a new power supply and have been reading up on Raidmax, Antec, Thermaltake, Tagan, Trupower etc...
I read in one of the articles that the SuperFlower is from the same factory as Enermax and Topower.. http://www.dansdata.com/sfpsu.htm
and its much cheaper without the branding. From what I've gathered from all the reviews, it is a pretty good PSU.
But there are so many versions (the 1+1 fan, 2fan, 3 fan, 4 fan, 120mm single fan, 140mm single fan) that I don't really know which is which! And all of them have different voltage ratings. Some have a low 12V rating of about 18A but the 450W 120mm Fan one is written to have a rating of 32A-42A-27A which is really good. If that's the one they have at my local store, I'm gonna get it.
It's cheaper than all the other similar-level PSUs and is arguably just as good looking or better, has great voltage ratings and has enough connectors + SATA support. From the reviews, I think overall the voltage is quite stable too under load.
But as I said, there's so many models so I can't speak for all. The 4 fans one in the first post doesn't seem to have very high ratings for the 12V rail. I think 4 fans is a bit of an overkill anyhow.
EDIT : Ok, I've checked out the superflower website on power supplies http://www.super-flower.com/powersupplies.html and they have all the voltage ratings for their various models. the 2,3 and 4 fan versions have lower ratings generally (esp 12V rail) and the 120mm and 140mm fans one seem superb.

I had a 550w psu with 3 fans , but it made so much noise I exchanged it for a zalman psu. On the other hand the rails seemed to be fine and with the zalman my case temp increased considerably...

I actually just ordered the other version of this PSU - the silent 140mm fan version for $18.99! They have a sale on it - price drops from ~$56 to $19 if your order is above $50...and I just realized I forgot to buy a sleeving kit :bang head
Looking at the normal price, I'd get an Antec TP380 or something instead, but for $19 when I needed to get other stuff and replace a 3-year old 350w Antec... It was just too loud for me - an 80mm+92mm couldn't keep the cheap stamped-plate heatsink cool.
I've seen several people post on various forums saying it comes from the same Taiwan plant as Fortron's or something do. I've also heard talk about its 12v rail always being a bit low, but always within 5%. I like it mainly because its silent, although that 3-fan model is fairly loud (theres actually a review on the mainpage somewhere - google it). I plan on getting a new PSU anyways for my next upgrade - a dual core of some type within 1-2 years, after I finish school.
Edit: just wanted to add that yes, its a 140mm fan - 14cm quad-blue LED fan. If nothing else, the fan is worth close to the $19 price. Heck I could stick this in a PC for a friend w/a normal 120mm, keep the 140mm fan, and still make cash.

I got the 550W for dirt cheap from directron. It's running my dually setup perfectly- nice and stable. That's all I worry about. It is loud on the max setting, but you have 3 speed settings. The lowest setting is about as quiet as my antec smartpower, and still pumps out considerably more air than the smartpower- and I can't even hear it over my 2 stock heatsinks. The medium setting is a bit louder than I would like. The highest setting is extremely loud, but pumps out extreme amounts of air too.
This rig is going in the basement as a server, so I'm not expecting anything quiet anyway. But it gets the job done for my dually, so I'm sure it will work fine in any single cpu system. Actually I just got done setting up SP2 on it and am using it now.
Get the higher wattage one. It's well worth it.

What makes you say this? Have you had personal experience with this brand?

I have one but haven't tested it yet , one interesting thing about the super-flower is an adjustable output pot , so if the rails are low it can be adjusted but I don't know if all of the flowers have the pot or not ?
