windows serious system failure

my computer keeps shutting down saying windows has recovered from a fatal system error here in the error info hope it helps,
"BCCode : 9c BCP1 : 00000002 BCP2 : 80537170 BCP3 : F6002000
BCP4 : 0000017A OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 256_1"

thanks for any help that you can give me to solve this problem
 
I'll assume you're running XP...The BCCode : 9c error code is normally a hardware related issue: an unrecoverable hardware error has occurred. The parameters have different meanings depending on what type of CPU you have but, while diagnostic, rarely lead to a clear solution. Most commonly it results from overheating, from failed hardware (RAM, CPU, hardware bus, power supply, etc.), or from pushing hardware beyond its capabilities (e.g., overclocking). Without knowing anything about your system, and what you've done so far afa troubleshooting, it's pretty much impossible for me to suggest a clear solution to your problem.
