Creative Labs Geforce 256 pro ddr question

Just a quick question...

What are the best drivers for this card?
I am currently using creative latest drivers, march's release.
I've been hearing a lot about these detonator drivers. These available for this card?

Yes you can use the Nvidia drivers.
In my opinon the best drivers for that card are the 6.50 or 10.80.

i personally use the 12.90 drivers for my geforce256 sdr and i think they are bascially the best

using the 14.40 drivers lowered my score by 100 marks in 3dmark2001

So I am hearing that the 6.50 or 10.80 are good , I installed the latest release the 12.41, but have not had any chance to benchmark or test em as I am installing new os and partitioning.

I thought with the new release they would get better. But now I am wondering the 10.80 support G3 and I guess so would the newer drivers. Will the choice of driver and performance really be dependant on your entire system? I am looking for the best Geforce 256 DDR driver as well to prolong the life of my video card till I can get a new card.

Also I need vivo, would it be wise to get a G3MX card or a Geforce II GTS Ultra once price drops?
