Dan's Data rocks hard, one of the best sites around. Thanks. But what I was really looking for was something that would explain why the cold side of a Peltier becomes cold. This was more of an explanation of how to use one.

At the bottom, you will find links to 11 manufacturers of pelts. Most of them have pages on the engineering that goes into how pelts are made and how to use them.
