well i just threw away my compaq case , why ? . becuase i got a biger case for FREE . ok so yeah it was AT , but it was huge. aprox twice as big as my micro atx ( blah ). so one problem board no fit well had to do some drilling for more mobo mountings
some dremaling for the back of the board (where the usb/ps2 stuff is) and fuse a atx templet to it and oh look atx just add atx power suply and power/reset switches

if your on a very low amount of cash and need a new case go down to good will find a big at case make it atx and its so much cheaper and fun than buying a new expensive atx full server tower

and if comes with a at PSU well u could posible use that for fans

if i remember correctly that the compaq boards are not standard size...they are customized for compaq cases only so it is required to drill some holes in order to attach the motherboard to a new case

Modding those old AT's is a very good idea. Just be careful transporting them, I swear ta god they made those old AT full towers outta lead!

yes this thing is a heavy mother #$%@er but its worth it , and the dremal, and hack saw eats through whatever its made of

and besides i need to get stronger for those BOXing tournaments we do at lans ( my head still hurts )
