thief 3: kill or sneak?

just thought it might be intersting to find out if those who played thief 3 were sneaky, or just knifed everyone they found in the back. or maybe you just blackjacked them?

theres a thief 3??? il have to check that out:) I was usually pretty sneaky in the Thief 1, and by sneaky i mean i snuck up behind everyone and blackjacked them :D

Heh, I'm playing it through for a 2nd time and I try and be sneaky...but I'm not satisfied until everyone is dead. Then I go as far as to kill people and toss them out windows into the streets and watch everyone go crazy and start fighting each other.

T3 has gotta be one of the most demanding games out, those dynamic shadows sure are pretty but they hit performance bigtime.

Everytime I get the chance, I kill them with the bow, or stab them in the back. I hate blackjacking. I like this game a lot, but damn those lighting glitches!

I can never use stealth in games, I just kill everyone. Stealth is a much harder thing to emply then mass killing in my opinion.

I've always been a fan of sneaking. Why kill somebody, and leave their body around, or have to take the time to hide the body, when you can sneak past and not only not have a body to hide, but have more ammo for when you really need it.

Well I don't have this game but I might have to check this out. I have a hard time being stealthy which is why I was never a big solid snake fan. For me I would go around and lob everyones head off wiether friend,foe, or innocent by stander. And that part that someone said about lobbing bodies out of windows starting riots sounds especially interesting. GOTTA LOVE CHAOS(its what makes the universe go round).

You probably already know, but the shadow flicker was caused by the cat 4.5 and hasn't been resolved yet. Rolling back to 4.4 solves it.

I highly recomend t3, they did a good job (especially the lighting), not perfect but I'm having a blast going through it again which I never do with any game.

Stealth is very hard to do. I still haven't reprogramed my mind to NOT kill everything on a level. Too many years of old school gaming I guess.

I usually just kill or blackjack the guards and zombies, but sometimes I try to sneak past them. They should have made arrows more expensive and harder to find because they made the game really, really easy.

for some reason killing just makes the game more fun. does that make me a perfect example of video games warping peoples minds, like some idiots say? if so, being able to hide in the shadows and then pop out and put the knife in someone's back is the way to go. not only does it kill them, but it attracts others to kill, as well as making it possible to steal their money and jewelry. what could be better?
