the 9600 pro I have is the one in my 2nd rig (look at my sig). the system is pretty fast but somehow i'm only getting 7,000 in 01. i've installed the chipset drivers, directx, and made sure that aa was turn off. i even tried formatting my system and i still get the low score. this is on top of the fact that the card is overclocked to 380/700. i'm stuck so plz help me out.

That is kind of low. I get almost 11K on my 2.8G P4 lappy with the 9600 pro turbo video card. You should deffinitly have that beat. What resolution are you running the test in?

default at 1024x768. its all default so aa is off.

Maybe you have it clocked to high? Try dialing it down.

....the card is overclocked to 380/700.

You sure it is a 9600 pro not a 9600 non-pro or SE? 9600 pros are 400MHz core at stock.

my mistake, i meant 480. stock is 400.

That is strange then.

What is your FSB?
Are you running the memory bus in sync with the FSB?
I'd suggest posting a summary of your scores for the individual tests - I can compare to mine. I score somewhere around 14K.
