7 Volt Delta 38 Mod. Just some questions.

Thismorning I rigged up my Delta 38 Screamer w/ the 7 Volt Mod (Take the 3 pin ground wire and connect it to the 5 volt line) and now I have a few questions about it. Such as, how fast does the fan spin now? I don't know how I could accurately gauge that. Second, how much air is the fan actually moving now? It probably isn't moving its marked 38 CFM anymore. And third, how much can I really expect my temperatures to go up? I know it really depends on case cooling and all of that jazz, but just gimmie a rough estimate, if at all possible. thx.

Those are questions not that many people have answers for. This is a mod that cannot be tested that easy. Have your temps gone up at all? That is the true test to see if you want to keep it.

to know the rpm just count how many time the fan go around in 6 seconds then time that by 10.

Well, my temperatures havn't really gone up all that much, just a degree or so idle, and about 2 load. Thats a trade-off that I can live with to be able to sleep at night w/o having to listen to the screaming of the Delta. They actually spiked when i changed the way one of my fans was blowing, so I'm gunna switch it back later.
