what would you do?

so I need to get myself a gig of ram and I'm torn between getting 2x512 3500 of mid-range stuff or getting 1x512 of the 222 special(to go with my 2x256 bh-5)and an ultra infinity.I'm trying to keep the cost under $280u.s.

I would go with 2x512 as opposed to 2x256 + 1x512.

Sell the ram you have now and get some new stuff. Either the new samsung chips, OCZ EB or that 2-2-2 special your looking at

I would get more RAM rather than faster RAM myself. Although selling your current RAM and getting a couple sticks of newer stuff, all the same brand, looks like a good idea as well.

well I'm currently running at 217 fsb and with a locked desktop barton I just want to make sure that I can atleast stay at my current speed.Does anyone think that I should go with option 2 until I could offload the Hyperx and replace it with a second stick of 222 special?
