Greetings all,

I've got a K7D with 2xAthlonXP 1600's @ 12.5x150mhz

Currently I am running 2 sticks of 256mb PC2100 DDR Ram (512mb total.)

I am looking for some expert opinions on whether it is worth it to upgrade to some PC3200 and whether to shoot for 512mb of PC3200 or 1.0gb

I eventually plan on upgrading my CPUs, but not at the moment.

Oh, alternatively - should I be focussing on upgrading my CPUs right now instead of my RAM?

Thanks all!

I'd say processors unless you have to run very loose timings to get to 150 fsb or are constantly calling on your file swap to run your normal software suite.

If you do get more RAM, don't buy pc3200 unless its cheaper than pc2700 due to the board's fsb cap.
