Yea the vdimm boosters are a life saver to the solder-incompetent. They boost all the way up to 3.9v which is f-ing insane.

Im getting one soon myself
 
well it's been a long time since ive soldered and with purchasing a new nec 19" pp930SB monitor and going to watercooling I cant see me explaining to my wife if I messed up a perfectly fine motherboard. lol:)

According to OCZ's M/B Compatibility Chart, your board is at, or near the top of the charts as far as max voltage goes. I believe that it will go up to 3.6v on yours, which is as high as any that I've seen listed.
