I have a spare heatsink/fan from an old pentium. Its larger than the one on my radeon right now but it might be to big. I will stick it on though if it would help me overclock it a little more. Should I make my comp sound more like a 747 for a few more mhz or leave it alone?

No trust me, do that mod the the radeon, you will get VERY high overclocks with that card if you do that mod, trust me.

In the same breath, there is risk involved with any mod. Be aware of this as fellow members jumped willy-nilly into mods that ended up damaging their components.

Ask Zoopa_Man what happened to his MX card...

When he was taking off (more like prying off) the heatsink he cause microscopic breaks in the traces which caused his board to display garbled. He has since repaired the traces and it works, but what a headache it was for him.
