I saw a picture of EM for someone else. It had status bars for four different proteins. I have two instances running on my local machine and both are working on the same protein. Also how do you get that neat status bar of the protein overall completion?
Is it supposed to be working on the same protein in both instances?

Are you refering to the screen shots of Electron Microscope? They keep track of the proteins you've already folded. The bars at the lower portion represent what you've folded and the counts for each protein...see attached.

If you have multiple clients on a single processor box. I would only run one client at a time. The reason everyone mainly has multiple clients is for the times when the servers are down. Having a second client to fire up allows you to keep folding and then when the servers come back up...the OC team..and you have units to turn in!! If you have a dual processor box, then you can run a client on each processor.

Hope this helps :)

You mentioned that you recently joined the team right? And you probably just got EM up and running..so..you're on your first protein, and it's your first WU that EM is going to record. You'll see a bar once you finish that initial protein, then every time you do another, another count, or if a new protein, a new bar. Part of the fun of folding!!
