Cpu And Ddr Question

Can you run an Athalon cpu that isn't 266MHz fsb on a mobo that is for DDR (ABIT KG7) with pc2100 ram? Then buy a new cpu wneh I have sold my old computer cr*p?

You mean a T Bird with a 200mhz bus?
You should be able too, just set the fsb to 100mhz instead of 133mhz. You'd be clocking the ram back, but that shouldn't cause any problems. Check the specs on the KG7, see if it says if it supports 200/266 bus. I think they all pretty much do.
