View Full Version : Bios
First off...how do u access bios after starting ur computer? i can only do it before startup. and when i look at the temps in bios i only see PSU temp and system temp....it doesnt say if they are idle temps or full temps either. im using XP home edition (Windows) Id be grateful for any helpful imput.
Hi.
You can only alter BIOS settings in the BIOS menu before the operating system starts. Although you can use programs such as Speedfan and Motherboard Monitor to check temperatures in windows.
Load temps and Idle temps are not recorded by the computer automatically. Idle temps are simply the temperatures when the CPU is sitting idle and not doing anything. Load temps are the temperatures when the CPU is under full (100%) load such as when running SETI or Folding@Home.
Hope this helps :)
