I just set up this rig and im getting about 2445 clock frequency with a 220fsb and the stock multiplier*locked*.....if i use the 220 and my Ram timings take a hit so instead of 2-2-2-5 they change to 3-2-3-7.....

but i can get 210fsb with stock voltage with the 2-2-2-5 timings...

now when i run PCmark04 with the 220fsb i get 3660 and with the better timings i get 3550

i had to 9800 pro but never used this software when i had it so i all of the above scores were used with the Ge Force 2

when i get my 9800pro back would my score go up?? I understand that its not supposed to rate your video card but is it possible that the crappy video card is hampering my score?

also what would be better: 220fsb with slower timings or 210 with 2-2-2-5 for GAMING.

my guess is the 220fsb since you got a better score with it.

right but supposedly in games a tighter memory timing is more important and will give more performance...which is why i ask because the higher score doesn't necessarily mean better fps

Run 3dmark2001se that will give you the overall gaming performace of your system eventhough it's a geforce2 you should see if there is a difference.
