Memory Question

I just have a quick question about my current memory. It is Corsair XMS PC2700. There is one stick of 512, and two sticks of 256. I am planning on upgrading my CPU and mobo so as to try my hand at more extreme overclocking. Will my memory hold back my system? Should I sell it, and upgrade to PC 3200? If so, what would be the best I could get for $200-$250, while keeping at one gig of memory?

yes the memory will hold back you overclockabilty. I would sell it.

ok. Can you recommend something to replace it, preferrably in 512x2 config?
