Hey all,I could use some help and or recommendations. As the title says my SS420 threw a rod ( ) Anyway im thinking it was part my fault,as i kept adding more and more and i think i overloaded it...I was hoping you guru guys could suggest a good power supply (limit is 120$) This is a list of what I have to power.

Abit max2 mobo
Intel 2.4
2x's 7200 rpm hd's
Ati pro agp
7 usb devices
5 80x80 fans
Zaleman CNPS7000A-AlCu
Tdk DVDrw
DVDrom
floppy
512 memory(soon to be 1024)

I found a link (http://www.jscustompcs.com/power_supply/) your suppose to enter your computer parts and it reccommends a psu size but the link wont work for me.any help on this would be great.

TGI SS420 threw a rod What does that mean?

I am assuming your PSU died and I would recommend at least a 400W.

Look here http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=62822 for the attributes of a good psu. Brands like Antec, Fortron are good ones.

IMO this is the best PSU for the money, $75. Fortron 530W. This thing will laugh at everything you throw at it. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-104-968&depa=0
