What AMD cpu are you running??

I set up a poll the other day in "intel CPU's" asking what cpu people were running in their main rig.

I had someone ask me to set up a poll similar to this in "AMD CPU'S".

I must confess, I'm a bit on the AMD illiterate side, and needed a bit of help on constructing an accurate list of options to "choose" from...=) (hey I'm an intel guy, remember??? lol)

GuNRocK was kind enough to submit to me a list of AMD processors to make the poll with, but there was one small problem;

His list had 12 options, the maximum number a poll can have, is ten. Therefore, I had to "prune" two selections from the list.

These two were "K5 and lower" (I'm lumping this into a "K6 and lower" instead, rather than two listings for K5 and K6 seperate), and "Duron (Morgan)" as I know that these really haven't been released yet, and the only one I know of that has a real-deal Morgan, is Wild Andy.

So, without further ado... I give you the AMD Poll.

Now remember, the idea of this is what chip is running in your MAIN system, and if by chance that's a dually, they're identical, right?? Pick one of the two....:D

i HAD a 1gig tbird but now i'm stuck wtih a 800duron . . .damn thing isnt overclockable past 950 (well, around there, its like 948 or 952-something).

well if u guys wanan know....i was bored and started reading from intel the memory and video cards.....i fill out the intel one for the fastest intel cpu i got 333celeronA and asked mr b. to set one up here just to see how things go and i see 88votes which is not bad for i believe the first day or so.:) i gota AXIA 1Ghz 266 tbird @1400Mhz nowat 48c full load....peace i will be outa here for 2-3 days

Well as far as i am concerned i'm happy with my 1.333 GHZ @ 1.4 Tbird although i am tempted to purchase the new n-force motherboard VERY SWEAT

Sorry Mr B I voted before I read that you only wanted what was in the MAIN rig.. The K6-2 266 @ 300 is in my 3rd system. Well was mine til I donated it to the office. I use it at work for Insurance programs and folding.

I got a K6-2 450@475, just wish I got better cooling, and a better processor (default voltage is 2.4v instead of 2.2)
