should i upgrade my 5900 Ultra 256??

i currently have a eVGA 5900 Ultra 256MB. i was planning on upgrading to a 6800 Ultra. i can sell the 5900 for $200 and get the 6800 for around $400(?). is the extra performance in Doom 3 worth the extra $200? please help!!!!

I'd go with the 6800, seeing the upgrade will be huge. Unless you what to wait pro PCI Express.

What about eVGA's step-up program? But yes, its a huge boost.

6800 Ultra is more like $500+, while the GT is ~$400.

umm.. It is up to you. You could go ahead and step up, even though u don't need to. Now might be a good time while you can get a decent price on your current video card. And I would go with the 6800 GT over the ultra. It is one hundred bucks cheaper and you will just want to step up again in a year.
