View Full Version : connecting L1 bridges of my D750 AKBA.....

in a few minutes im gonna connect the L1 bridges of my D750 using a soldering iron (cause im ****ed using pencils that wont work and defogger paint/cenective pen is not available in any store out here).............is it safe???.........will i burn or damage my processor using a soldering iron.........any suggestions and opinions would be appreciated....thaanx...

Personaly I wouldn't solder the bridges. I have heard of a few people wrecking there chips because they soldered the L1s. I penciled my L1s on my duron 600 and never had a problem with it. I had the duron for a long time and never had to reado the connection.

I'm about one month into my penciled Duron. I can't see soldering ending well. I advise against it completely.

Rub the solder into the L1's like you would a pencile and then lightly trace it w/ a hot sldering iron, remeber though, dont spend to long touching the chip AMD rates them at 90C

very good advice it only take a hair to connect them so don't spend more than a moment on it.
