Here it is...i have am amd t-bird 1gig AXIA "Y" right, but when i went into BIOS and increased the multiplier from 7.5 to 8, i restarted it like you have to, but then it didn't boot. I had to reset the cmos in order for everything to go back to normal...whats up with that? Is the problem the L1 bridges?

Sounds like it.

Check your connection on them and try again.

Also, i had a 1gig chip b4, before i fried it, and when it was overclocked to 1.4 gigs' idle ot was 51C load probably 54C, but now when i put this same new chip in (1gig), not overclocking it, in Asus Probe, i get a temp of 55C idle and 59C load...whats up with that?

Or you can use SiSoft Sandra, available at:http://www.sisoftware.co.uk/sandra, or Motherboard Monitor from: http://mbm.livewiredev.com/.
