For all of you who are tired of the servers going down then there is some news from Standford regarding the 2.0 client.

note- I hope that if the problem is with the older client that they just have everyone upgrade as quickly as possible or make the clients work off of separate servers.

Thanks for taking the time to look this stuff up Ploaf. That is the kind of positive energy that scares certain other members. Looks as though better WU's lay on the horizion :).

Hope so. The one that really made me want to post that was the mention of caching ability which should help increase the number of folders and help to keep things rolling even when there are server problems or when a machine can't be connected to the net 24/7. The 2.0 client is finally becoming a reality. Now let's hope that it works. :p

Greatwork.... I checked I did not see 2.0 yet, but as soon as its out I will download it.

Yeah. It's not out just yet. It's being tested and the kinks are being worked out. I think it was crashing for a few folks. Not sure. Just glad that the testing has finally begun.
